The ASHA Journals Program relies on the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th ed.) for guidance on editorial style and manuscript formatting. Specific editorial and publication policies are determined on the basis of best-practices recommendations from organizations such as the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors and the Council of Science Editors and/or to comply with the requirements set forth by funders such as the National Institutes of Health.
It is the responsibility of the authors submitting articles for publication to review and adhere to these policies. Authors are also advised to familiarize themselves with the additional sources linked to within specific policies on this page and in our Instructions for Authors.
Please send any general inquiries to journals@asha.org. Questions specific to a particular journal may be sent via the e-mail addresses found in the Instructions for Authors.
